Over the years GirlzART has amassed a large collection of totally anonymous pictures of sensual women posing for my camera. Some would class as Fine Art Nude, others as Lingerie, others as examples of different Fetish pursuits. Many of these women have given GirlzART written permission to use the pictures taken of them to further market our art and there is no better way than to publish a book.

The name "GirlzART" came about by my creative-fusion of professional photography and to being a recognised Fine-Artist, teaching life-drawing on television and to classes around the country, whilst having exhibitions as an "artist/painter", just as much as a "photographer".
But if you're wondering should YOU be involved with this creative process? Have you got what it takes? Ask these questions of yourself:
Are YOU an adult women with a sexuality, it is immaterial if this is hetero or homo-sexuality...as the photographer will bring out your SENSUALITY of womanhood, rather than photographing the sexuality. "Sexual photography" is what I consider to be "Porn". However, "GirlzART" is all about sensuality and the "suggestion of passion".
"a lady's bedroom or private sitting room"
"intimate photography usually comprising nightgowns, lingerie and various stages of undress."
Definitions vary for this style of contemporary photography that has become a mainstream feature over the last 5-10 years.
Every photographer will have a slightly different slant on what Boudoir entails, as defined by their own unique style of photography. This is what sets us, professional photographers, apart from the more amateur or student groups of photographers.
I tell my clients that "Boudoir" consists of "sensuality and sophistication" and that it is not dependant upon how much body she shows. It's the photographer who draws out the sensuality from the woman, be it by a suggestive pose, a drape of material, an opening of a cloth or the smouldering gaze of an eye. As a photographer, it is MY JOB to bring out your emotions such that they are visible in the picture. Some ladies do pose topless or are photographed to give the impression that they are topless or nude when actually they're not! This is clever posing and again a mark of a true "pro".
I photographed a lady as "implied topless" standing in her bath, against a grey slate wall, with her hands covering her breasts. It was obvious she wasn't wearing a bra, with no visible straps and you could see the swelling of the sides of her breast...but the picture and the photographer, didn't see anything at all. (picture below). There are many occasions where I instruct a lady how to pose and then turn around (or leave the room) whilst she gets herself in position and calls me back in, to take the photograph. This way the photographs can be highly SUGGESTIVE WITHOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER EVER SEEING ANYTHING INDISCRETE. In many cases the photographer sees less "flesh" than he would observe on a beach in summer.
Many clients worry that "I'm not sexy", "I'm not sophisticated" or "I'm just a frumpy mum". These are terms I frequently hear and sadly, they show me the poor self-image many ladies have of themselves and possibly the poor esteem in which they are held by their partners of many years. DO NOT DESPAIR!
This is exactly the time to hire the services of GirlzART because as a true professional photographer I create the picture long before capturing it with a camera. I know how light works and how the human eye views a picture. Put these together and I know how to use the light to "trick the eye" that later views my picture.
I have shot ladies for the front cover of magazines, for press shoots and for discrete photography for their lover...I know how to photograph a woman to bring out her femininity, natural grace, poise and style that every woman has. Yes, EVERY WOMAN HAS!
My GirlzART Clients fall into typical groups of people:
This is quite simple to answer. Men view women in a totally different way than women view women. If you want your photographs to appear sexy, sensual and to appeal to a man viewing them...then get a man to create the photographs.
From this, you would expect a lesbian to want a woman to photograph her but one of my best clients was a lesbian who came specifically to me because she wanted a picture that would attract another lesbian partner and make her feel as if she oozed sex-appeal. As it was, I had to have a discussion with her before the shoot about lesbian sexuality as even I didn't understand why she'd come to me at that time. Below is one of the final pictures from that memorable shoot:
